FAQ 3: How will the programme fit alongside my already busy life?

I've been asked this a few times. Basically the course is designed to offer new perspectives on your life as it is right now. It's certainly not designed to add "more stuff to do" to your already busy life. So while there is an expectation that you attend the 12 gatherings during the year, the nature of this work is actually about freeing up your time, giving you the space and energy to live the life you love. What is likely to happen as you engage with the process is that your experience of time itself will begin to change! In fact, you will be probably be surprised as you go through the year, just how much more time you seem to have!

The Alchemical Journey is a cyclical / spiral journey around the wheel of the year, and by following a cyclical journey like this, our experience of time is dramatically affected, being so conditioned as we are to think in lines: deadlines, headlines, trainlines, phonelines, on-line, off-line, end of the line and so on! All this, I would say, is the product of a stress-inducing linear conception of time! This course, by contrast, is fundamentally about breaking out of that stress cycle, and realising just how much space and time you actually have to co-create your own reality. So this programme will support you in whatever you are doing in your life, or want to do, and will enable you to approach it from a different perspective. It will enable you to access the joy and feelings of wellbeing that are available to you when you live in harmony with the natural cycles of life, rather than trying to fight against them to reach some intangible deadline. So it's not designed to fill your head with lots more "stuff" to worry about. It will rather give you the space and freedom to experience the "stuff" that's already there in a completely transformed way!
