Month 4 (Cancer): Fri 19th - Sun 21st June 09

Roots & connection to source

The Cancer phase of the cycle is about connecting us to the roots of who we are, where we come from and what nurtures, nourishes and supports us. This is the time of the Summer Solstice, when the Sun reaches its zenith in the yearly cycle and moves tentatively, crab-like across the sky before beginning its descent. This part of the annual could be thought of as a pregant pause - trees pregnant with the summer fruits, which are maturing on the branch; plants are trees drawing deep for water and sustenance.

So the fourth month is all about…

• Exploring connections to roots, home, family, history, sense of belonging.
• Establishing a place of sanctuary in your life
• Connecting to own natural rhythm.
• Exploring addictions and cravings.
