The Alchemical Journey Route Map

Every adventurer needs a route map and The Alchemical Journey map is founded upon centuries (even millennia) of tradition.

The Alchemical Journey programme follows a time-honoured journey through the seasons of the year from Spring to Summer to Autumn to Winter. It follows the path of the Sun on its perennial journey through the 12 signs of the Zodiac from Aries to Pisces. Each astrological stage of the year resonates closely with the theme of the season and the archetypal symbolism we work with is drawn from a synthesis of both. Our journey is is also an elemental journey from Fire to Earth to Air to Water.

This year's journey officially begins at Spring Equinox 2009 (March 2009) and runs through to Spring equinox 2010. The Workshop Programme features 12 weekend gatherings throughout the year, in Glastonbury, Somerset, and each one is timed to approximately mark the ingress into the next astrological sign. On the Sunday of each weekend, we engage in a ritual walk through the correspondent zodiac figure in the Glastonbury landscape zodiac. These walks are led by landscape geomancer Dr. Anthony Thorley.

We will be supporting a comprehensive Online Correspondence Programme, which will also launch in 2009. This will include teaching teleseminars, guided meditations, resource packs and personally tailored worksheets, and an interactive student forum area.
